The default uses the V31 model and six-ply search. The 17 MB model download happens on first use; it then runs on your device. The full-precision option uses the 5-cell tables at their original 32-bit precision (30 MB download); in a paired test both precisions scored the same.

Slide one cell at a time. Merge 1 with 2, or equal cards of 3 and above. Drag to preview; pull back to cancel.

Rules and incoming cards

Use swipes, arrow keys or the on-screen buttons. After a valid move, a card enters from the opposite edge, uniformly among the rows or columns that moved. Blocked moves do not draw cards.

The basic deck contains twelve cards: four each of 1, 2 and 3. Nine cards are dealt at the start. Play continues through the remaining deck before reshuffling, so draw probabilities depend on what remains.

Previews come in rounds of 21, and each round has exactly one bonus at a random position. If the highest card is still below 48 when that position comes, the round has no bonus. Bonuses do not consume the basic deck. Values double from 6 up to one eighth of the highest card.

A bonus window is chosen uniformly, then a card is drawn uniformly within it. The preview shows up to three consecutive values, making middle values more likely than the extremes when there are multiple windows.

Cards 1 and 2 score zero; 3, 6, 12, 24… score 3, 9, 27, 81… points. The game ends when no move remains, or immediately when two 6144 cards merge into 12288.
